Sorry I m really late for my blog. I ll try to actualize it during the long winter days.
This article in the below talk about my trip in the New Orleans this summer.

On sunday we went to the church and not just any church. First you shoud look at the picture carefully. Baptist CHRUCH unbelievable. How is it possible to make a mistake as big as that? I have no answer.

The night before we met french people in the street and one of them was telling us about this one because she had lived in New Orleans and she knew a friend who played guitar for the gospel singers. Also we followed her advice and we weren’t dissapointed. It was amazing, the church  was small inside. We were the first one to arrive on time. We settled in our chairs and were dumfounded by the spectacle. There were just african american people inside and every 10 minute a new group of people went inside and enthusiastically greeted theirs friends, hugging people. There was a warm ambiance before that the priest comes.

The music was too loud, the guitar and the battery were electricals.
after thirty minutes, the ambiance was surrealist. I can remember one of the african bunch was beautiful. She held her baby with one arm and with the other one she moved on the music’s rythm, singing . ” Oh my god….”
Few moments after this scene, an old women who seemed to be the boss of this place brought to me Bathroom’s paper telling me that I should put this in my ears for protecting my ears from the loud music.
After 5 minutes we did it most People got this and were singing with pink paper in theirs ears.

It was cherry on the cake ( I know it’s a french idiom but I try to use it and I  saw that  it works in USA as well.) For the end I can see that it’s one of my favorite moment in the New Orleans may be because it was a true and authentic moment.
